Playing for Pets is a 24-hour video game marathon to benefit the Community Humane Shelter of Steuben County. The event began in 2015 and is put on by Professor Justin Young’s honors seminar in Video Games: Art, Culture and History of a Medium. The event is designed to both raise awareness of the diversity of video games as a medium, while also showcasing the good that can be done using them.
