Sigma Tau Delta inducts Buehrer, Houser, Long and Lucas

There are lots of clubs open to students at Trine, but Sigma Tau Delta has a fairly exclusive membership. All the more reason to be impressed by its four newest members.

Sigma Tau Delta is the international English honor society. HAC professor Amy Nicholls was instrumental in bringing it back to campus a couple of years ago, and since then its ranks have only grown.

The recent end-of-the-year graduates and outstanding student celebration served as the induction ceremony for its four newest members. August Buehrer, Mycah Houser, Kyle Long and Emma Lucas were inducted. They joined current members Mikaela Gerba, Alexis DeLancey-Christiansen and Amanda Higbee, who were also recognized.

To join Sigma Tau Delta students must have completed at least two English courses beyond required freshman English, hold a minimum B or equivalent in those English courses, rank in the top thirty-five percent of their class and have completed three semesters. Congratulations to the new members!
